Jacinta Palmer is the pen name I use for writing content in the genres of fantasy | romance | supernatural | cozy mystery

Now that I'm retired, I can devote myself to writing whatever I want. I love fiction: Fantasy and magical reality, romances (especially cosy genre). I am sometimes a copy-editor / beta reader.

For years I worked as a secretary / administrator, in various support roles. I trained as a CAD operator, have experience in relocation logistics and space planning, and a qualification in interior design.

I love dogs and support dog rescue. I currently own a dachshund but, over the years, my family and I've owned several other breeds.

When I'm not reading a book about supernatural creatures, fantastic worlds, time travel, myths, legends, mysteries, romance or relationships, I'm likely to be writing fiction about them!

I'm happily married with a grown-up family, which allows me time to indulge in writing. Long walks are great for plotting, or listening to audio books. Between them and my Pilates classes, I keep fit.

For a change of scene, I sometimes hang out at a coffee shop to write, fuelling my inspiration with a cake or pastry.

I've been a vegetarian since 2019, and sometimes I share recipes I've discovered or adapted. I'm keen to broaden my horizons with travel, but I'm afraid of heights and I hate to be cold so ... no skiing for me!
